Administrative & Community Support Assistant
Part-time (25-30/hrs/wk), Administrative and Community Support Assistant for busy, non-profit, cross disability services agency. Four-year degree in uman Services, Business or related field preferred with two years' experience in disability-related services preferred. Provide both administrative and consumer services. Administrative responsibilities include supply tracking and ordering, volunteer support, maintain tracking spreadsheets, review files for accuracy and input data, assist with report completion. Consumer Services include provision of Core services to LVCIL consumers including intakes, individual and group contact, and community outreach. Knowledge of community resources for persons with disabilities a plus. Highly organized individual with commitment to consumer control and empowerment sought. Ability to work in a team environment. Community Support Coordinator (Housing & Core Services)
Full-time, Community Support Coordinator for busy, non-profit, cross disability services agency. BA/BS in social work, psychology, or related field and 2 years' experience in disability-related services preferred. Assist consumers with all types of disabilities who have low income, are near homeless or homless, and need assistance to find or keep appropriate housing and to live independently in the community. Provide consumers with advocacy, independent living skills, peer support and information & referral, and conduct outreach. Knowledge of community resources for persons with disabilities a plus. Highly organized individual with commitment to consumer control and empowerment sought. Ability to work in a team environment.
