Peer Support:
Feel
Free to Lean on Me
Has life got you down?
Do you feel like no one understands you or that you'll never get ahead?
We know how you feel and we're here to help. LVCIL's Peer Support service gives
people with disabilities the opportunity to talk with others who have had
similar life experience living with a disability and may have gone through much
of the same ordeals.
There is strength in numbers. A network of support can be one's greatest asset
in getting through the toughest times. One-on-one support from experienced staff
and others living with disabilities can help lighten the load when dealing with
issues including depression, sexuality, self-worth, financial burdens, and just
yearning to belong.
