Services for Veterans

LVCIL, through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), provides the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program to promote housing stability among very low-income Veteran families.

The program supports those families who reside in or are transitioning to permanent housing and have someone in the houshold with a disability. SSVF services are available to Veterans residing in the following counties:

Under the SSVF program, LVCIL provides a variety of services and support. Through case management, supportive services, and possible short-term financial assistance, LVCIL staff work with Veterans and their families toward stability in permanent housing.
