ICC Certified Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner
bamelio@lvcil.orgis certified to conduct accessibility site surveys on new and
existing buildings. Assists with the management of the Freewheelers
Athletic Organization which includes wheelchair-using tennis, basketball,
bowling billiards enthusiasts. He likes to be called Bob and is known to
some as "Bubba". Bob is the "Master of the LVCIL website"-he
monitors it monthly for updates and changes and is also the Graphic Artist
for LIVIN. He is assisted by one of his mobility service dogs Lady or
Bear.

degree in Professional Writing. Her hobbies include writing in her blog and

carasteidel@lvcil.org enjoys playing tennis, attempting to play golf, officiating
field hockey, bike riding, book clubbing, cheering for Lafayette, the University
of Maryland (fear the turtle), and the Red Sox.
She loves to be outside but if she has to be inside she is glad it’s at
LVCIL.

Marks
SLIRS Program Coordinator
michelemarks@lvcil.org came aboard the finely-tuned ship that is LVCIL
in October of 2006. She is thrilled to be involved in a non-profit agency that
supports consumer empowerment and self-determination. Michele has been actively
interpreting in the community and in education for over a decade. She is a
member of RID, NAD, and PaRID. She loves to hear from consumers, so feel free to
contact her by email or make an appointment to visit!

Hetherington
SLIRS -Fiscal Assistant
lindahetherington@lvcil.org joined the staff at LVCIL in
February 2006 and is delighted to, once again, be working in the non-profit
sector where people matter most. She has a long connection with the LVCIL, as
she was a former secretary to Carl Odhner, who is the founder of LVCIL. Linda has been involved with the Beginner ASL
Classes offered at the LVCIL. She loves to read, especially on the beach; spend
time with family and friends and is greatly enjoying her nine grandchildren.

she began working for LVCIL she was an LVCIL volunteer. She is the proud owner

Freewheelers Athletic Organization. Although
his sport of choice is wheelchair basketball, Joe likes to try anything sports
related. He also enjoys music,
movies, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife, his family, and his two
dogs.

started here as a volunteer and was hired in May of 2005. She enjoys many types
of crafts, reading, writing, long walks. Completed her first 5K walk with First

enjoys working with staff at the CIL whose mission is to continually help
others. Part of Annette�s time at the CIL is devoted to work at the Supported
Independent Living facility on the Good Shepherd campus in Allentown.
She is a Family Mentor for Habitat for Humanity and in her free time,
enjoys many outdoor activities offered in the Lehigh Valley.
