Amy has been Executive Director of LVCIL since 1999, and was the president of LVCIL's incorporating Board of Directors in 1990. She holds a BA in Social Work from Elizabethtown College (Go E-Town!) and an MSW from Marywood University. Amy is an Elvis fan and a fanatic for the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps (Go Bucs!). A card-carrying member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Amy loves music in all its forms. Amy can sum up her passion for IL with the quote, "A community which excludes even one of its members is no community at all."

Bob, also known to some as "Bubba," is an ICC Certified Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner which means he is certified to conduct accessibility site surveys on new and existing building. He is the president of the Freewheelers Athletic Organization, which includes wheelchair tennis, basketball, and bowling enthusiasts. He is assisted by his mobility service dog, Bear.

Greg joined LVCIL as D.C. in November 2009. Prior to his time at LVCIL he worked as a writer for a small Carbon County magazine. He is a graduate of Kutztown University (GO Golden Bears!) with a BA in Speech Communication and minor in Public Relations. While not fighting with his girlfriend on which is the better baseball team (Yankees or Phillies, with the clear winner being the Yankees), Greg enjoys writing, music, and spending time with his girlfriend and family.

Ian started at LVCIL as a volunteer and was hired in March 2011 as a Vocational Coach in the S2L: Career Path program. Ian is currently enrolled in Lehigh University’s graduate Counseling and Human Services Program. He is a graduate of Temple University and University of Minnesota. When he isn’t at the CIL, Ian enjoys camping, fishing, music, and spending time with his wife and twin children.

Annette has been with LVCIL since October 2007. She is a fan of anything outdoors and loves going for a run in the Little Lehigh Parkway. She’s into growing her own vegetables and traveling anywhere, any time. Annette is a Family Mentor for Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley.

Rebecca started at LVCIL as a volunteer and was hired in May of 2010 as the Administrative Assistant. She graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with a degree in Human Services. She enjoys travel and crafts in her free time and is also involved with the Medical Home Project.

Kristy joined LVCIL in May 2011 as the Director of Core & Housing Services. She recently graduated from Kutztown University with a Master’s degree in Public Administration and holds two B.A.’s from Pennsylvania State University. She has worked for the past ten years in social services in both the government and non-profit sectors. She greatly enjoys helping others work to discover their potential and is excited to be joining the CIL. When not at the office, Kristy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, rooting for the Phillies and spending much time outdoors, especially at the beach.

Eladio or Eli graduated in 2005 from Lehigh Valley College with a degree in Business and a specialization in Criminal Justice. Since graduating Eli has been employed as a Case Worker. Eli is a fan of the high seas, spending his spare time working on his boat and fishing. He is also an official "Beach Bum" favoring the Atlantic Coast and spots such as Virginia Beach, VA and Ocean City, MD. He also likes to hunt and most all enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Seth graduated from Penn State University with a BA in Psychology. He enjoys playing basketball and helping to coach both baseball and basketball for his son. He is a huge New York Yankees fan and enjoys going to local IronPigs games. He enjoys all kinds of music, travel, and being with his family.

Theresa (Teirri) comes to the LVCIL with a B.A. in Human Services and a tapestry of experience which expands across the Irish Sea. More importantly, however, she comes with a grateful heart. Teirri is grateful to a wonderful CIL community member, and friend, whom many of you knew and loved, Harold Bonte, who introduced her to the CIL many years ago. "Harold was such an inspiration to us all, and continues to be! It is because of Harold, and in honor of him, that I join the S2L: Career Path team. It is my intention to serve the community with the spirit of compassion, courage and conviction which Harold so beautifully exemplified. Thanks Harold! This one’s for you!"

Joe graduated in 2006 from New York University with a Master’s degree in Journalism. While writing is one of Joe’s interests, he truly enjoys working with people. He is also a huge Phillies fan, despite the fact that there are too many Yankee fans at the Center for Independent Living. Finally, Joe enjoys working around his house and spending time with his wife and newborn.

Carly graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Elizabethtown College, where she majored in Elementary Education and minored in Child Psychology. She worked for a year and half in school districts throughout the Lehigh Valley as a substitute teacher and coached the sprinters and long-distance runners on the track at Palisades Middle School. She started at the LVCIL as summer staff for the S2L: School to Life Transition Program. While not at work, she enjoys vacations to Ocean City, NJ with her family and dogs, watching movies, and going to watch live music.

Debbie started here as a volunteer and was hired in May of 2005. She enjoys many types of crafts, reading, writing and long walks. She completed her first 5K walk with First Strides in the Fall of 2006. Debbie is accompanied to work by her service animal, Mark.

Cara enjoys playing tennis, attempting to play golf, officiating field hockey, bike riding, book clubbing, cheering for Lafayette and the University of Maryland (fear the turtle). She is also a fan of the Boston Red Sox. She loves to be outside but if she has to be inside she is glad it's at LVCIL.

Kadie graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York with a degree in Business.  She joined the CIL family in October 2010 and loves helping others with disabilities.  Herself, she has two disabilities so she can relate to a lot of her clients.  In her spare time, she likes to go for long walks, go to the beach, try new international foods, teaching her daughter sign language and spending time with her family.
